How are you doing? I’m seeing everyone trying so hard, so many different kinds of support for your children, and it’s all so very impressive! Whether you helped them with challenging reading, supported the bonus activities, or focused on keeping everyone occupied and healthy this week, you’re doing such an inspirational job ensuring that your kiddos have everything they need.
Thank you again for logging into Lexia! It’s so great to be able to see where everyone is in phonics for reading. This week we’re wrapping up How-To books, getting deeper into what’s in a non-fiction book, and doing bigger subtraction problems. In Social Emotional skills, we have a lesson on dealing with frustration (a message for you is attached). Social studies has optional lessons on community this week. Music, PE, and library lessons are available on their sway site. They will update over the course of the week https://sway.office.com/re2Y2p8PIv1hWGxP?ref=Link
Our district is adding a new feature to our Seesaw activities to see how much support children are getting when doing their assignments. Your support is so necessary in kindergarten, so don’t worry! Please indicate on the assignments how much support you offered, so I can tell if I’m offering work at the right level for your child.
Optional Monday meetings are from 9-9:30 (contact me directly for the link for safety purposes).
You’ve been so helpful and so supportive. If I can do anything to support you let me know. I’ll do it or get you in touch with someone who can help! Office hours when I’ll be able to respond to anything you need as fast as possible on email or in person in zoom sessions are
Tuesday 9-9:30: (contact me directly for the link for safety purposes).
Thank you so much for everything you’re doing. I can see in your children’s faces and their work just how happy they are while spending this quarter at home with you.
